Functional Responsibility:
Perform engineering analysis, assessments, investigations, engineering support, and evaluations for U.S. Navy AEGIS Weapon System (AWS), AEGIS Combat System (ACS), weapons, and weapon system element performance in accordance with associated specifications. Tasking will support Systems Engineering, design, and production efforts in technical areas related to safety, capabilities and limitations, training, testing, performance, functionality, compatibility, reliability, maintainability, supportability, logistics products and engineering sustainment support in resolving element or AWS/ACS integration issues. Issues include verification at Engineering Test & Evaluation (ET&E) of AWS specification and Computer Program Change Request (CPCR). Support Flight Test Missions (FTMs) events and participate in test planning meetings, reviewing presentations and documents, supporting test objectives with generating event summaries and post-mission reports, ensuring test objectives are met, providing recommendations for successful event execution based on historic events and resolution of any problems encountered, providing lessons learned, supporting the execution of test and evaluation events. Conduct engineering analysis, data and documentation to support training products. Support working group, advisory board, configuration control board, and technical exchange meetings to develop products, presentations and technical papers.

High School diploma/GED plus 4 years direct experience gained from the U.S. Navy or equivalent as specified below
Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any of the recognized Engineering disciplines and no work experience

The qualified candidate will become part of the Sub-Contract Team for our BAE Systems Customer, working with the Aegis Combat System (ACS). As part of our team the successful candidate will support the BAE Customer to the US Navy's ACS test and evaluation, support testing, scheduling, review of test procedures, and reporting results. Knowledge of the Tactical, Testing and Training aspects of Aegis are requisite.

Pugh Associates is seeking a Junior Data Link Analyst to join our team. The qualified candidate will provide Combat System Simulation Services that includes the Tactical Data Link, and wraparound simulation and stimulation of the AEGIS Combat System (ACS).
Description of Duties
Experience conducting advanced tactical data link engineering and analysis
Experience identifying interoperability requirements and testing methodologies to ensure all modeling and simulation tools maintain interoperability standards
Experience troubleshooting and isolation of hardware and software issues and a basic knowledge of the tactical data links discipline
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree with 0 years direct work experience but Internships or studies that included Modeling and Simulation or scientific data analysis or Interoperability analysis of systems-of-systems or US Military experience with Phased Array Radar, Command & Control, Tactical Data Links, digital networks
Required:
DoD Final Security clearance is required prior to start date
Must maintain a DoD Final Security clearance as a condition of continued employment
